Workshop – From The Moon To The Throat

This workshop it was about sharing exercises that could make participants appreciate (physical) vulnerability. Being fragile and powerful is something Sorour was always wishing to be. Thier work is always trying to put together things that seem impossible to gather. As a trans-body it is obvious for them, how essential it is to coexist with complexities, instead of simplifying our being to get accepted. “First time I put a big dildo in my anus and after some playtime, I felt my feet trembling. The sensation of what is vulnerable reminds me of the sensation of having my period on the day I begin to bleed”. In this workshop vulnerability is celebrated as the greatest power to cross all limits, all fears, all impossibilities, all norms.
